It is often difficult to look at our own homes with a critical eye and see where things could be improved, especially if we have lived there for a number of years. Often a few subtle changes, with perhaps some painting and decorating, are all that is necessary to give a room an entirely new look. Or perhaps some of those ’treasures’ or family heirlooms that we all collect over time could be used selectively to give a room interest, make it unique to you or even be a basis for a new colour scheme.
